These adorable Royal Worcester Victorian Days-of-the-Week Collector Plates are designed by Jenny Barnard, a well known ceramics illustrator. This collection of eith porcelain plates is based on the Victorian Days of the Week rhymes. Mondayfts Child is fair of face; Tuesdayfts Child is full of grace; Wednesdayfts Child knows little woe; Thursdayfts Child has far to go; Fridayfts Child is loving and giving; Saturdayfts Child works hard for a living; But the child that is born on the Sabbth day is fair and wise and good and gay. A Christening plate is also available. Each plate has a 8-1/4in diameter. Imported.
